Please be aware that the Sleepy River bridge was obliterated by this spring's rapid snowpack meltdown and the resultant flooding. Unfortunately, repairs have not been possible thusfar, and the trail is closed for the 2023-2024 season.
We are planning on this becoming a priority for reopening, but the wheels turn very slowly in Lansing.
Please respect the landowners and stay off of this private property until the trail is officially reopened. Otherwise, we run the distinct risk of permanently losing access to this important, fun and beautiful trail.
